Jerval Johnson is a mother of 2 boys (ages 13 and 16,) a board-certified behavior analyst (BCBA), a professor, and a doctoral student at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. As a board-certified behavior analyst (BCBA), she uses principles of applied behavior analysis to help teach new skills to children and young adults with autism. She received her undergraduate degree at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University in Greensboro, North Carolina, and her master's degree in educational psychology at Capella University. Aside from her educational and professional endeavors, she loves all things nerdy, including anime and mythology, laughing at and with her boys, and fitness.
