  • Schedule Your Initial Phone Consultation

Your journey begins with an initial phone consultation with our clinical director. This call provides an opportunity to discuss your child’s needs, ask questions, and learn more about the services we offer.

  • Complete Insurance Verification

Next, you’ll receive an insurance verification form. Complete and submit it alongside your child’s diagnostic report and a copy of the front and back of their insurance card. This information allows us to verify your insurance benefits.

  • Understand Your Insurance and Funding Options

Understanding your insurance coverage for ABA therapy is essential. Coverage varies, so it’s crucial to check with your provider. We can also guide you through funding options and assistance programs that may be available.

  • Personalized Assessment and Treatment Plan

Once the insurance verification is complete, your Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) will schedule an assessment to evaluate your child’s strengths and needs. Based on the assessment, we’ll develop a personalized treatment plan tailored to your child. The plan will be reviewed with you, signed, and sent to your insurance provider for authorization. Plans are reviewed and updated every six months.

  • Start ABA Therapy Services

After your insurance company approves the treatment plan, ABA therapy sessions can begin. These one-on-one sessions focus on developing essential skills like communication, social interactions, and behavior management. Services are provided by your child’s BCBA or a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) under the BCBA’s supervision.

We accept these insurance plans: Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina, Cigna, AETNA, North Carolina Medicaid, and AmeriHealth.

  • Engage in Essential Parent Training

Parent training is a vital component of ABA therapy and is required by all insurance providers. These sessions help you learn techniques used in therapy and how to reinforce them at home, maximizing the effectiveness of your child’s treatment.

  • Monitor Progress and Adjust as Needed

Our BCBA will continuously monitor your child’s progress, adjusting the treatment plan as necessary to ensure ongoing improvement and success.

  • Maintain Ongoing Communication and Collaboration

Effective ABA therapy relies on collaboration. Maintain open communication with your BCBA to discuss any concerns or observations. Together, we can ensure your child’s journey is as successful as possible.
